Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — Elements of the investigative police completed search warrants in Isla Mujeres homes that resulted in the seizure of computers and arrests related to child phonography in two of the homes.
In the third home, police searched the premises as part of their investigation related to a homicide.
In a brief statement, the FGE said “The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office reports that Friday, investigative police officers completed three search warrants – given by a judge – in Isla Mujeres.”
“Computer material and computer equipment apparently related to child pornography and allegedly various doses of drugs were seized in two houses. Subsequently, the third address searched is related to the homicide of a person of foreign origin. There are five detainees.”
