Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — A 5:26 p.m. report of a drowned man was made to the C5 Centre of Cancun Tuesday. The body of an adult male was pulled from the sea by four lifeguards next to the ferry dock of Puerto Juárez in the municipality of Isla Mujeres.
The man’s body was seen floating face down not far from the shore. First responders arrived and confirmed the man was deceased. He has been unofficially identified as a local fishermen.
Authorities have not made any public comments on the man’s death.
