Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — A man involved in a weekend highway rollover was lucky enough to walk away. On Saturday afternoon, emergency personnel responded to calls about the 1:00 p.m. highway accident that left one vehicle ditched.
First responders arrived at the scene to find the driver of the vehicle unharmed. He was able to walk away from his rolled car, which required a tow truck to move. While the man was medically evaluated and police waited for the tow truck, a long line of weekend traffic came to a standstill outside the accident scene.
Some reports say a vehicle line as long as 10 kilometers was generated over a two-hour period due to the single car crash which happened outside Puerto Morelos. The was no word on what caused the accident.
