Chetumal, Q.R. — Two soldiers in a suspected state of drunkenness were arrested during the early hours of Thursday in Colonia Comité Proterritorio of Chetumal after firing their gun several times in the air.
According to the police report, at approximately 1:15 a.m. at a home located on Tomás Aznar Street, shots were reported. Those responsible for the firing of the weapon are a male and female, both military personnel. They were taken into custody by Quintana Roo Police.
Both were handed over to the State Attorney General’s Office and subsequently forwarded to their respective military corporations where they will be subject to the corresponding sanctioning procedures.
