Chetumal, Q.R. — An unidentified man was shot Monday in a Chetumal park. The injured man was able to move across the street to a street vendor where he was able to get help.
He was transferred to hospital with two bullet wounds to his left leg. His condition is not known.
According to witnesses, two armed men attempted to force him into a vehicle. When he resisted, he was shot. The pair responsible for the shooting fled and have not been caught.
The shooting happened at Parque del Queso in the state’s capital city of Chetumal.
