Chetumal, Q.R. — A Chetumal man lost his life after being thrown from his motorcycle. The accident happened early Monday morning in the Proterritorio neighborhood.
According to reports, the man was traveling from west to east on Maxuxac Avenue crossing 30 de Noviembre Street where he failed to slow down for a speed bump.
His tires made contact with the raised concrete, causing him to lose control. He was thrown from his bike head first.
Police found him laying on the road several meters from his bike shortly after reports of the 3:30 a.m. accident. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
