Cancun, Q.R. — A woman seen being delivered a pink bag through a car window has been arrested on drug and weapon charges. On Thursday, patrolling officers witnessed Brenda Paola “N” received a pink bag that she threw to the ground when she ran at the sight of police.
Cancun officers caught up with her on foot in SM 95, collecting the tossed pink bag in the process. She was intercepted on 18th Street, two streets from where they saw her collect the bag.
According to a statement from the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) of Quintana Roo, during “a physical inspection of her belongings, police located 100 doses of crack, two packages, one large and one medium, of marijuana with a written legend, a short weapon, a gramera scale, a thermal sealer, a cell phone , a notebook, a purse and an ecological bag.”
