Cancun, Q.R. — Police in Cancun rescued a minor from a motel they said was being sexually exploited. The minor was removed from the motel Tuesday night by investigating police.
Four adults were also arrested from the Sexto Sentido Motel in SM 63. They were taken in on charges in relation to the sexual exploitation of the minor. After their arrest, the motel was suspended for business.
In a news brief, the FGE reported “The FGE Quintana Roo reports that PDI agents rescued a female minor who was a victim of the crime of trafficking for sexual exploitation. There are 4 detainees and a motel was secured in the Municipality of Benito Juárez, where the entry of minors was allowed.”
