Cancun, Q.R. — A collision between two vehicles who both claim to have had a green light left several people injured. The accident between the Cancun city bus and a private truck happened at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday.
Both vehicles were traveling along Kabah Avenue in SM 21 of the city’s center when they collided. The small truck recieved a majority of the damage after making contact with the front driver’s side of the city public transport bus.
Emergency 911 responded to the accident, sending both police and medical help to the scene. Several people were treated for injuries. There were no reports of hospital transfers.
Tow trucks were called to remove the crumpled vehicles from the public roadway. Traffic police will determine who was responsible.
