Cancun, Q.R. — A U-turn gone wrong saw one person sent to hospital after crashing into the side of an oncoming bus. The accident happened Friday morning on José López Portillo Avenue.
The driver of a company car, Kevin N, attempted to make a U-turn to change direction when his car met the side of a bus driven by 29-year-old Erick N. The driver of the company car required hospitalization for undisclosed injuries.
Traffic police were at the scene to determine who was responsible, while an ambulance arrived to transfer the driver of the car to a hospital in SM 510.
