Two industrial trucks demolished in head on highway crash

Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — Two old model industrial vehicles were demolished Monday in a two-truck collision. Both vehicles were traveling the highway near the community of Nicolás Bravo when they collided.

The two dump trucks were working a nearby section of Maya Train when they are reported to have hit head on. Passing motorists stopped to help the injured drivers while they waited for police and paramedics.

Traffic was slowed in the area due to the scattered debris from the collision of the two trucks. According to available information, one of the trucks was attempting to overtake a vehicle when he met the second truck coming in the opposite lane.

Highway traffic continued to be slowed while authorities waited for two heavy duty tow trucks to arrive to remove the crumples vehicles off the highway and have the scattered accident debris cleared.
