Othón P. Blanco, Q.R. — Police have detained a man wanted for a recent murder that took place in the town of Huay-Pix. On Monday, police executed an arrest warrant against Roger Alberto “N” “for his probable participation in events possibly constituting the crime of aggravated homicide of a male victim,” the FGE reported.
In a statement, the FGE (Fiscalía General Del Estado) said “the first acts of investigation indicate that the events occurred on December 15 of this year, on a ranch in the town of Huay-Pix located south of the state where the detainee and the victim worked.”
During an investigation, police gathered evidence from the ranch that included two bags of crack cocaine and a gun believed to be the murder weapon.
“The evidence was collected at the time of the arrest of the accused,” the FGE detailed.
Roger Alberto “N” has been transferred to the Chetumal Social Reintegration Center (prison) where he remains.
