José María Morelos, Q.R. — Residents of José María Morelos in west-central Quintana Roo woke up to thick fog Wednesday. Motorists were forced to travel slowly and with lights on due to the reduced visibility.
According to José María Morelos media, overnight temperatures continue to hover slightly below normal with residents waking up to 18C Wednesday morning.
Streetlights remained on a bit longer than usual due to the fog. The fog has been ongoing in different municipalities since Cold Front 10 swept across the Yucatan Peninsula last week.
Mexico’s SMN (Servicio Meteorológico Nacional) has forecast another winter blast of cold air for the Cancun, Riviera Maya region this weekend.
