Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — The body of a man was found inside a semi unit that had been parked for at least two days. Police were asked to check on the industrial unit after area residents reported a foul smell.
Saturday night, police located the unit and a deceased male inside. According to available information, the man inside the cab of the truck had been dead at least two days.
The large dump truck was seen parked off a busy road in the town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto, but no one paid attention until the foul smell was noticed.
Local authorities have not said if the man inside was the driver of the unit or how he died. The body was removed and the vehicle towed for further investigating.
