Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — A Puerto Morelos woman found in possession of crack cocaine was arrested Monday. According to local authorities, she is also part of a criminal drug dealing group known to generate violence around the state.
On Monday, the State Attorney General (FGE) reported on the arrest of Lizeth Saray “N”. According to the FGE, she was taken into custody from the streets of Puerto Morelos after being found in possession of marijuana and crack cocaine.
“It should be noted that this woman is part of a criminal gang that generates violence in the state, which is dedicated to the sale of drugs,” the FGE explained in her arrest statement.
A municipal judge agreed with local prosecutors Monday and allowed charges of drug dealing to be laid against Lizeth Saray “N”. Authorities did not provide information on a trial date or possible sentencing.
