Mahahual, Q.R. — Approximately 500 residential homes are scheduled for construction in Mahahual for the second half of 2021. The report comes from Mauricio Hamui Hilwani of ITM Desarrolladores, who says the beginning of the construction will start in the second half of next year.
“There are around 500 more homes to consolidate the tourist destination because there is a significant lack of housing in Mahahual, which is gradually growing and consolidating and since it receives so many cruise ships, there is a lack of housing for tourism service providers that, one way or another, attend to and offer their services to cruise passengers who get off the cruise ships to visit and get to know this destination,” he explained.
Hamui Hilwani said that the residential homes will consist of both houses and apartments, keeping in harmony with the environment.
“Thanks to the arrival of cruise ships and tourists who arrive by road, the destination continues to grow more and more and it is obvious to believe that more and more people will see it as an option for work and obviously, they will need a place to live,” he said.
