Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Police have successfully located two people kidnapped and held for ransom since Friday. The pair, who are from Cancun, were located on a ranch in the municipality of Puerto Morelos over the weekend.

According to authorities, on the afternoon of July 18, agents specialized in kidnapping and extortion received a phone call from a man who reported the possible kidnapping of a relative and his colleague. Both men are employees of a business who had gone to do work at a hotel in Puerto Morelos and were to later travel to a ranch located on the Cancun-Leona Vicario highway for a scheduled evaluation appointment.
