El Salvador man wanted for human trafficking extradited to Mexico

Mexico City, Mexico — In compliance with the Extradition Treaty signed between Mexico and the Republic of El Salvador, a man from that country was extradited to Mexico.

Luis “R” was returned to Mexico City to face human trafficking charges in the form of sexual exploitation. Luis “R” was wanted in Mexico City for sexually exploiting his then-girlfriend in various city hotels.

According to the State Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), “Luis “R” obtained money by sexually exploiting his girlfriend, making dates with men in different states of the country in hotels in Mexico City.”

He was wanted by the Accusatory Criminal Procedure System of Mexico City for the crime of human trafficking with the modality of sexual exploitation. The Government of the Republic of El Salvador granted his extradition to the Government of Mexico.

His delivery into the hands of Mexican agents took place at the El Salvador International Airport Sunday.
