Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Elements of the Secretariat of Public Security of Solidaridad detained a subject after he was found in possession of various narcotics inside a Playa del Carmen bus station.
The subject was detained on Friday afternoon during a pedestrian surveillance operation with a canine. After entering the bus station, the dog alerted his handler to an eco-bag that was being carried by a waiting bus passenger.
An inspection of the man’s bag revealed on bag of marijuana and 10 sachets of cocaine. The young male, who is from the state of Yucatan, was taken into police custody.
