Construction workers of Felipe Carrillo Puerto find wrapped body at highway bus stop

Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Area construction workers of Santa Amalia discovered a wrapped body at a highway bus stop Tuesday. The grisly discovery was made early Tuesday morning that had both state police and military personnel at the site.

There, a body was found wrapped tightly in plastic laying on the concrete floor of the bus stop by local workers around 6:00 a.m. Attached to the body was a handwritten note left by organized crime members.

“This is going to happen to all the **** CJNG chilangos and the whores of the badges that want to extort from the population of people free of extortion,” the message read.

National Guard secured the area, keeping highway traffic away from the site while police dealt with the crime scene. Elements of the Investigative Police and other FGE personnel arrived to collect evidence before the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) removed the body.

The body was completely wrapped head to toe making it impossible to determine if it was a male or female. Several 9mm shell casings were collected from the scene.
