Riviera Maya, Q.R. — A six pack of what turned out to be marijuana was found by police stranded on a beach area outside a Riviera Maya hotel.
Police report the discovery of a six-pack of marijuana outside the Sirenis Hotel along the coast at kilometer 258 of the Reforma Agraria-Puerto Juárez highway.
The drugs were wrapped in clear plastic and came to a total weight of 30 kilos. They were seized and delivered to the Attorney General’s Office.
On Saturday, federal police, along with the Mexican navy, reported finding six kilos of marijuana washed up on a beach area outside Moon Palace Hotel, also in Riviera Maya.
