Riviera Maya, Q.R. — Another package of drugs has been discovered by authorities washed up on a beach, this time along Riviera Maya shores.
La Policía Federal report the finding of a large package of what turned out to be marijuana on a beach area near Moon Palace in the Riviera Maya region. Police say the package was found during routine beach tours by elements of la Secretaria de Marina.
According to information provided, the package of marijuana was found Saturday morning and weighed 6.25 kilos. It was seized and transferred to the Attorney General’s Office based in Cancun.
