Cancun, Q.R. — A chase through Cancun streets ended with a young man being shot to death. The shooting happened Friday afternoon near a plaza parking lot in SM 251.
Witnesses are reported to have told police that armed individuals traveling on a motorcycle shot the man who, moments before, was being chased by them on a motorcycle.
The chase came to an end near a parking lot where the unidentified youth lay dead on the sidewalk after being shot several times.
The incident happened in the Villas Otoch Paraíso subdivision. Police were alerted to the shooting after receiving reports of gunfire. Paramedics pronounced the youth dead at the scene.
