Cancun, Q.R. — An early morning police chase in the suburbs of Cancun ended with gunfire and two detainees.
Reports say Cancun police began their chase shortly after 9:30 a.m. along on Cancún Avenue. The chase, which involved two subjects, ended with the exchange of gunfire in the Gran Santa Fe subdivision in SM 525.
Details were limited. There were no reports of injuries or why police were chasing the duo, only that they were arrested and transferred to police facilities.
