Tulum, Q.R. — Another weekend police operation in Tulum lands nine more in jail. The jailed were part of an intelligence operation in the hotel zone Saturday night.
Along with the nine taken into custody, police also seized hundreds of street-ready packages of narcotics, a majority of which, were marijuana and cocaine products. One car was also seized during one of the two Saturday night operations.
The continued removal of alleged drug dealers from Tulum streets is part of the municipality’s ongoing strategy to reduce crime.
