Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — A teen motorcycle driver was killed Tuesday on the Tulum airport road in Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The 17-year-old lost his life after crashing into the back of a parked work truck.
The young man, reported to be a local Maya Train construction worker, died at the scene of the crash early Monday morning. Paramedics, who were requested around 8:00 a.m., arrived to pronounce the driver dead and his passenger injured.
According to available reports, the young driver hit the back of the maintenance work truck due to poor visability. The youth was from Veracruz, living in the town of Muyil while working on the Maya Train.
