Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — A Puerto Morelos taxi driver belonging to the Cesar Martín Rosado union was shot and killed outside his home. According to authorities, there were no witnesses to the shooting.
The driver, identified only as Ramon P.C., was shot and killed outside his house in the Villas Morelos II subdivision around 2:25 p.m., which is when neighbors reported hearing gun fire. When police arrived, they found the deceased taxi driver still inside his unit.
Members of the State Attorney General’s Office arrived and cordoned the area where they began an investigation. Since there were no witnesses, police have yet to find those responsible.
