Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A man heard yelling from inside a private home was rescued by Municipal Police. On Wednesday, Solidaridad officers responded to the 911 report from Villas del Sol.
When they arrived, they located a man inside a private home who said he had been kidnapped and was being physically assaulted. Neighbors who made the report believed the yelling was a fight between men.
An ambulance was called for the injured victim who was taken to the General Hospital of Playa del Carmen. His captors were successful in escaping before police arrived.
During a hospital interview, the unidentified victim told police that he had been kidnapped from another part of the city, but could not remember where or how long ago.
