Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — Elements of the Ministry of Public Security and Municipal Transit of Solidaridad secured two subjects, a firearm, cartridges and a motorcycle.
In a statement, it was reported during a patrol Tuesday night along 115th Avenue, police marked two people aboard a motorcycle to stop. As municipal police approached, one of the subjects undertook an escape.
Police requested support in locating the fleeing male. Meanwhile, the other subject was found carrying a firearm with cartridges.
The fleeing man was intercepted by police and also taken into custody.
