Cozumel, Q.R. — The Secretary of the Navy reports the activation of search and rescue protocols for two lost Cozumel fishermen diving in the northern part of the island.
According to a report through emergency lines, other fishermen reported that two companions went astray at the height of Punta Molas after going down to the seabed to carry out their activities.
The two fishermen reported missing are Maximiliano N and Alfonso N, both 27 years old.
The Secretariat of the Navy, through the Naval Search, Rescue and Maritime Surveillance Station has activated the corresponding protocols in search of the crew of the vessel Susy II. There has been no word yet on the successful location of the two missing fishermen.
