Once there, they evacuated two people from the ship who were in need of hospital attention. In their statement, the Navy said that after receiving a call for assistance from the ship, they evacuated a 28 year old woman and a 92 year old man.

The woman was of Peruvian nationality and was diagnosed with acute appendicitis by the ship’s doctor. At the same time, a 92-year-old American man was diagnosed with ischemia.
