Cozumel, Q.R. — Elements of the National Guard detained a male subject on the dock of San Miguel when he was found in possession of drugs.
Elements of the National Guard reported that they detected the alleged offender in a security filter when he was found with marijuana wrapped in a cylinder package among his belongings.
Elements of the National Guard were the ones who discovered the package when the man was passing through the security arch of Cozumel, bound for Playa del Carmen. He was arrested and transferred to police facilities for the Attorney General.
