Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injured after plowing into the front of a car when he failed to stop at a marked sign.
The accident happened in the Ejidal neighborhood in west Playa del Carmen when the car, which was traveling along 40th Avenue crossed an intersection. The car was hit by the motorcycle driver after he failed to respect the marked stop sign.
The collision caused the driver of the bike to crash into the car, which sent him flying through the air where he landed unconscious onto the roadway.
Witnesses called emergency personnel, claiming the man was deceased since he did not move or respond to their calls, however, paramedics arrived and found him alive but unconscious. He was rushed to Playa del Carmen hospital in serious condition.
