Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Four people were reported injured Wednesday in a bad morning highway U-turn. The driver of a company truck was captured on video attempting a U-turn across four lanes of highway traffic.
As the driver of the company truck moved left across the lanes, he was hit by an oncoming transport van. Both vehicles collided in the middle of the highway. The accident was recorded Wednesday morning in front of a reptile park in Puerto Morelos.
The 9:10 a.m. crash left four people with minor injuries. Morning traffic heading toward Cancun was heavily affected by the two vehicle crash. Emergency services, including police and paramedics, were at the scene. The Puerto Morelos fire department also responded to the report of the accident.
