Mexico City senior transferred to Playa del Carmen jail after being reported for selling drugs on street

Playa del Carmen, Q.R. — After the weekend arrest of a man in his senior years, it seems drug dealing is not only for the young. On Sunday morning, Playa del Carmen police responded to the 911 report of an older man in the Forjadores neighborhood selling drugs from the street.

Officers moved to 95th Avenue where the man was reported to be. As they arrived, the subject described to police was noticed as he attempted to flee. It did not take responding officers long to intercept him.

Upon a search of his person, officers reported finding numerous doses of at least two different types of narcotics. Handcuffed and transferred to a Playa del Carmen jail cell was 63-year-old Fidel N from Mexico City.
