Mexican company Norcast announces $25 million investment into new plant

Torreón, Coahuila –Mexican company Norcast has announced an investment in the suburb area of La Laguna in the city of Torreón, Coahuila. The $25 million USD will generate 390 new jobs in the production of aluminum parts.

Governor Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís and the Mayor of Torreón, Román Alberto Cepeda González, announced the arrival of the company whose origin is Mexican.

The Chief Executive of Norcast, José Francisco Clariond, pointed out that this investment is made in conjunction with Movimiento Moderno Mexicano, which will strengthen supply chains in the northern part of the country.

He thanked the Government of Miguel Riquelme and the team of the Ministry of Economy. “As a Mexican, I feel proud to have public servants who are genuinely looking to help their state.”

Norcast is a leader in the transformation and commercialization of aluminum. With the arrival of Norcast, to date, 18 investment projects have been registered in the state so far in 2023 by established companies.
