Cancun, Q.R. — The body of a man was found without vital signs near the parking lot of a grocery store in central Cancun.
The deceased male was discovered between parked vehicles on the corner of Tulum and Uxmal Avenues, where he was found laying face-up on the roadway. Emergency personnel who attended the scene noted blunt blows, as if the man was in a fight.
Preliminary reports from witnesses suggest the man was in a state of intoxication when he may have fallen and hit his head, causing his death. The name of the victim has not been released. There is no official word on the cause of death. Police continue to investigate.
