Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — A passerby walking a coastal area of Isla Mujeres stumbled upon a black bag that contained a human arm. Transit officers were first on the scene of the Saturday morning report to verify the finding.
Municipal police also arrived after authorities confirmed the discovery of a human arm. Police took photos of scene located along the central west side of the island near the open air garbage transfer site.
The partial limb was found in a rocky area. Isla Mujeres police have not made a public comment on the finding. It is not known if the body part was male or female or how long it may have been there.
