Isla Mujeres, Q.R. — Isla Mujeres firemen were called to put out a fire in an old health centre of Isla Mujeres. On Sunday, firemen responded to the 911 report of flames inside the old building.
According to Coordinación Estatal de Protección Civil QRoo “Given the report received through 9-1-1 regarding a fire in the old health centre of the Centro neighborhood, Civil Protection personnel and the fire department of the municipality of Isla Mujeres, responded immediately.
“The presence of black smoke was attended to with a fire truck and four elements who extinguished the fire that was presumed to have been intentionally caused or due to the recklessness of a person since there is no electricity supply in the property. The registered damages were material and minimal,” they reported.
The fire happened Sunday evening. Damage was minimal. There were no injuries reported.
