Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Federal authorities raided a drug house in Puerto Morelos Thursday resulting in the arrest of four. The search operation was carried out in a residential neighborhood where more than a kilo of cocaine was seized.

The operation was led by the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) who were armed with a court order. In addition to narcotics, a 9mm firearm and loaded magazines were seized from the private home.
In custody are Danie “N”, Victoria “N”, Miguel “N” and Dante “N”. All four were removed from the home on Avenida Timón during the operation. According to authorities, the home was used as drug house for storage and distribution.

The Policía Federal Ministerial (PFM) say those in custody are suspected of being part of a criminal cell linked to acts of violence in the area. The PFM transferred the seized items to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) in Cancun for further investigation.
