José María Morelos, Q.R. — Paramedics rushed one person to hospital from a two vehicle crash in José María Morelos. The accident happened around 7:00 a.m. Tuesday on the Polyuc-José María Morelos stretch of road between a semi and pickup.
According to reports, the driver of the semi is alleged to have swerved into the opposite lane, colliding head-on with a state-issued pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was rushed to hospital after being removed from his totaled vehicle.
National Guard Highways were called to the scene, finding the demolished truck partially off the highway. The semi was located nose down in shoulder vegetation. There was no official word on what caused one vehicle to swerved into the oncoming lane and collide with the other.
