Cozumel cafe reduced to rubble after explosion

Cozumel, Q.R. — A Tuesday explosion inside a Cozumel cafe caused the small business to level, generating considerable material damage. According to preliminary data provided by Civil Protection, the explosion was caused by an accumulation of gas due to a domestic 30L tank leak.

Neighbors for several streets heard the explosion as Cali Café, located on Avenida Adolfo Rosado Salas, was leveled. The entire building, along with one parked vehicle, were completely destroyed. Several nearby buildings also suffered broken windows.
