Cancun, Q.R. — A woman who spent a month in the hands of three men who kidnapped her manged to escape Saturday. The unidentified woman made the emergency call to 911 when she was able to gain access to a phone.
Police arrived at the centrally located area in SM 2-A where she said she was being held. According to the report, circulating police in search of the woman heard shouts for help from inside a house. Police entered the home where they found a woman who said she was being held against her will.
At the site, three men identified as 45-year-old Rubén N, 44-year-old José N and 32-year-old Luis N were arrested on kidnapping charges. One of the detainees had a Glock pistol in his possession. The woman said she was being held by the trio on orders of her boyfriend.
