Cancun, Q.R. — A man who worked as a security guard in a Cancun shopping plaza was found dead. The 60-year-old man was discovered Monday morning by a coworker who arrived for a shift change.
The man was a night watchman for a business on Cobá Avenue in SM 36. He is believed to have died of a heart attack. He was found laying on the floor early Monday by someone who had come to replace him for the dayshift.
Emergency services were notified of the finding. Paramedics arrived, only being able to pronounce the man on scene. An autopsy will confirm the official cause of death. The deceased man was not identified.
