Cancun, Q.R. — A motorcycle driver was pronounced on scene after crashing into the back of a parked dump truck. The accident was reported to authorities from SM 222 of Cancun Saturday night.
A report from the office of the Fiscalía General (FGE) said the driver of the motorcycle was traveling at excessive speed when he hit the back corner of the truck.
It is believed he realized the truck was parked and attempted to avoid it last minute, however, he crashed into the back left of the heavy unit, hitting it chest first. Authorities say he died instantly.
