Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Two bodies believed to be those of local criminal gang members have been found. The bodies were located by authorities Wednesday evening a few kilometers from the town of Chumpón.
During patrols, police found a parked vehicle facing the wrong direction. Inside were two deceased men. One of the men is believed to be Manuel Galindo Ángel, a local leader of the Caborca Cartel with a current 1.5 million peso reward for his whereabouts.
According to the report, Investigative Police confirmed that while traveling on a dirt road, they located a white Chrysler Voyager van parked facing the wrong way emitting foul odors. Upon inspection, they found two bodies in an advanced state of decomposition.

So far, authorities have not publicly confirmed the identity of those inside, however, according to local reports, the now-deceased leader is alleged to have been ambushed and killed by his own gang members.
