Cancun, Q.R. — A woman inside a car that fell from the second floor of a parking area remains in hospital. The woman was found inside the car Sunday after driving off an elevated shopping mall parking lot in Cancun.
The incident happened Sunday morning shortly before 8:00 a.m. at a shopping mall on Bonampak Avenue in SM 4. Emergency personnel arrived after receiving a report of the accident.
The car was found overturned. It had landed on its roof on a mound of rebar next to the shopping mall. It is not clear how the driver, Valia “R”, drove off the second floor.
