Another three kilometers of JMM roads ready for 2025 harvesting season

José María Morelos, Q.R. — Additional efforts are being made to ensure harvesting roads are ready for use during the 2025 season. José María Morelos Mayor José María Morelos says he is increasing efforts to continue supporting the agricultural sector of the municipality.

More work is being done to improve the harvesting roads for the benefit of all the producers of the community of Candelaria with the goal of reviving the Quintana Roo orchard, he said.

“We continue to advance together for a more prosperous municipality with better conditions for everyone. My total commitment is with the peasants. We seek to detonate the Morelos countryside, we continue working to open and enable more harvesting roads, not only on this Candelaria route, we will also advance with more of these supports,” said Borges Yam.

Approximately three kilometers of road were recently enabled benefiting many producers who are ready to begin the production of seasonal watermelon, lemon and corn.

The harvest roads are used by the local farmers to access their fields as well as export their finished products at the end of the season. Borges Yam says the roads are an important means of communication between the community and the farmer. They also facilitate the vehicular passage to the agricultural area of the town.
