Puerto Morelos, Q.R. — Police continue their search for subjects on a motorcycle accused of gunning down a Puerto Morelos man Sunday. The deadly shooting happened in the town of Leona Vicario in the municipality of Puerto Morelos early Sunday morning.
According to available information, the shooting took place along the federal highway near a mechanic’s shop. Two men in a motorcycle taxi arrived at the shop where one of them shot a man, leaving him for dead.
Police arrived in response to reports of gunfire, locating a male shooting victim that paramedics confirmed had died. Personnel from the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) were requested to remove the body.
Local authorities have not reported publicly on the targeted attack.
