Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Q.R. — Police continue their search for a taxi driver reported abducted from outside his home Monday. The man was washing his car outside his home around 1:00 p.m. when he was reportedly abducted.
Felipe Carrillo Puerto police responded to the report of the man’s disappearance from outside his home on 78th Street in the Emiliano Zapata II neighborhood.
Neighbor witnesses told police armed men arrived around 2:00 p.m. and forced him into a blue van. The abducted taxi driver has been identified as 27-year-old Héctor de Jesús “M”, a new driver for that taxi union.
Municipal police cordoned off the area while authorities began an investigation.
